This pressure canner is amazing. It is VERY large, VERY sturdy, VERY heavy, and it seems to be a quality unit. I've canned in it several times with great results. Having both the dial gauge and the weighted gauge is terrific (especially because I'm at a high elevation). If you have a lot to can at once, this is your canner (I'd consider one size smaller if you can less at one time). If you've never used a pressure canner before, the first time can be a little scary! Just make sure you follow the directions. It is fabulous and I highly recommend it if you love to can - it's worth the money and I'm pretty sure it will last forever. As always, it was easy and fast to order this from Amazon and I received it quickly. As a side note, I ordered the Ball canning cookbook at the same time and it is awesome.
